Seal of Quality

Naturally.Proven.

Product safety is one of our top priorities – especially when it comes to lambskin products designed for the the youngest members of your family. Therefore, we not only take great care to offer you the highest quality that undergoes the strictest inspection – we also have the quality of our products tested by external agencies. We are happy to give you more information about our certificates and seals of quality.

WE ARE OEKO-TEX® certified!

Fellhof products such as baby lambskin products, footmuffs, handwarmers, mattress toppers, and inserts for children are certified by the independent inspection and certification system OEKO-TEX.

Our quality promise

The highest level of product safety is an essential part of our quality promise. For this reason, we are adamant about constant quality control and external testing. As a whole, these requirements go far beyond existing national laws.

Criteria for testing for harmful substances includes:

  • substances prohibited by law
  • substances regulated by law
  • chemicals that are known to be harmful (although not yet regulated by law)
  • parameters for preventative health care

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Certification

The prerequisite for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification of textile products is that all components of an item comply with the required criteria – without exception. In addition to the outer fabric, this includes the sewing thread, inserts, prints, etc., as well as non-textile elements such as buttons, zippers, rivets, etc.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent inspection and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate products and end products at all stages of production.

Some examples of certifiable items include:

  • raw and dyed/finished yarns
  • raw and dyed/finished fabrics and
  • knits, made-to-order items (garments of all kinds, home and household textiles, bed linens, terrycloth goods, plush toys, etc.).

LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX® Certification

The prerequisite for LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX® certification of leather materials and leather articles/products is that all components of an item meet the required criteria – in addition to the leather, that includes fabrics, threads, inserts, prints, labels etc., as well as non-textile elements such as buttons, zippers, rivets etc.

LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX®

LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX® is a globally uniform independent testing and certification system for leather and leather articles at all production stages.

Examples of certifiable articles include:

  • leather semi-finished products (e.g., wet blue, wet white, crust, etc.)
  • finished leather
  • leather board
  • made-to-order items (all types of clothing, accessories, leather gloves, leather bags, leather covers, etc.).

For leather materials, the conditions and criteria of the currently valid LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX® are used; for non-leather components (e.g. textiles, metallic accessories, etc.) the conditions of the currently valid STANDARDS 100 by OEKO-TEX® apply.
